Dr. Sujan Shrestha is an Associate Professor of General & GI Surgery at Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, specializing in gastrointestinal, hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB), and minimally invasive surgery.

He currently practices at Manipal Teaching Hospital, Pokhara. His clinical focus spans gallbladder disease, hernia repair, colorectal and GI cancers, liver and pancreatic (HPB) surgery, and advanced laparoscopic techniques.

Dr. Shrestha has led two Nepal-first surgical techniques — surgeon-powered robotic surgery and VR-assisted laparoscopic surgery — and has performed more than 100 laparoscopic colorectal surgeries. He is a published researcher with 18 papers and case reports in peer-reviewed journals, and has held academic and clinical posts at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (Institute of Medicine), Bharatpur Hospital, and Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.
